RV Parking

(Update from Patty on April 11) We have a unique situation with our 2018 national. The site, Bill Stanton Community Park, has a very high-pressure water table, which causes blowouts and slumping on the face of the bluff above the lake. The result is significant erosion which in turn has impacted the site’s ability to provide state-of-the-art support for RVs.

For exhibitors with RVs:

I’ve attended the shows before with my RV, so wanted you to know that the site will have RV parking but no electric, water hook-ups or dumping. With the erosion work on-going, it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY that there will be kitchen, bathroom and shower facilities in working order. I made a visit to the site, met with the Regatta Classic show committee and learned the following:

Parking is $20 per day. Payment for RV parking is made at the entrance to the grounds, with the proper colored ACC parking permit you will be brought to our reserved area to park your RV.

The area with reserved spots for us is a nicely shaded area near the Chesapeake rings. We have to pre-plan how many RV’s will be in attendance, so you must have the proper permit to park in that area. Otherwise, you’ll be parked with the masses.

Please, please, please, let me know your RV parking plans. The grounds do not open until 3PM on Wednesday July 11th.

To request a parking permit fill out the online form at https://goo.gl/forms/4joEqRRH7bhfUSas1. If you are uncomfortable filling out the online form, send an e-mail to pmartin285@gmail.com. Please include your name, RV description (make, length in feet), email address and phone number.

For ALL OTHERS planning to attend the show: there are two rings for ACC judging that are separate from the all-breed rings. On Thursday, these rings will be used for Obedience and Rally. We will have the opportunity to remove dividers and make that area one larger ring should we need the space for sweepstakes and breed judging.
